About US

Avidity came to life in 2024 by Madison Phillips, a 25-year-old active-duty Airman, who wanted to share more of her fashion sense when it came to a comfortable style than just a girl who's in a camouflage uniform. The best part of Madison's days is getting home from work and getting into comfortable clothing after a long shift - we all know how great that feels! Avidity Loungewear came to light spreading their mission which is simply: to provide you with the most premium loungewear. Our loungewear is:

  1. fully sustainable
  2. versatile
  3. the highest quality
After following her father from state-to-state as a military brat, Madison's family settled, and she grew up in New York. Madison graduated high school in 2016 where she then left for the Air Force in 2017. She did her basic training in San Antonio, TX and completed her tech school in Biloxi, MS. Shortly after, she was stationed at her first duty location in Utah and was moved a year later to be stationed in Florida. Here, Madison opened up her first clothing boutique that lasted a successful couple of years until she had to attend to many military assignments and could not keep up with her brick-and-mortar. Madison decided to close down her boutique, but knew she would pick it up again one day.
In the meantime, she worked multiple jobs to stay busy while still being active duty and attended online college at the University of Arizona Global Campus, where she obtained her associate's degree in aviation management, and bachelor's degree in business administration in 2024. Her graduation present to herself? Opening a clothing business again. This time, it was going to be her own designs and not wholesale.
Once her ideas were made, Madison knew she needed to create a business name at some point; something that related to her personality and something that others can relate to as well. Behold, the name Avidity.
a·vid·i·ty
[əˈvidədē]
noun
avidity (noun)
  1. extreme eagerness or enthusiasm: similar words being passion.
If you know Madison, you know she has a passion for feeling accomplished and always wanting to work towards something. Some might say most of her personality IS her work ethic. Sharing her designs as Madison was a goal of hers aside from being Airman Phillips throughout her days.
Currently, Madison is working through selling out her first micro collections. She knew that loungewear will always be a casual, yet comfortable product that will never go out of demand. Besides, she practically lives in it whenever she isn't in uniform.
Shortly after Madison started working on Avidity, she found out that just shy of four months, she was going to be leaving her duty station in Florida and move to her following duty station in Oklahoma in December of 2024. Madison had to scramble to get business started before she left Florida, and she will be shortly growing her company from Oklahoma.
To this day, Madison is still active duty with many years left of her contract - and hopefully many more years of Avidity.
As sales keep growing, Madison continues to create different styles of loungewear with the help of her team. Her dreams continue of developing a business that not only grows in itself, but to also create a team that supports and cares for her and Avidity's mission.

Through Avidity's growth and into the future, comfortability, versatility and sustainability will continue to be our main priority.
